MCFA provided strategic master planning and asset management support services to the VA Long Beach Healthcare System. The project included facility assessments, capital planning, and business case development for high-priority healthcare facility expansions. Our team conducted on-site surveys, evaluated infrastructure needs, and developed long-term capital investment plans to align with VA priorities. The project successfully secured a high-priority ranking for a major spinal cord injury center, addressing critical veteran healthcare needs.
Services performed included the following:
- Developed a comprehensive 10-year Strategic Capital Investment Plan for infrastructure and facilities.
- Conducted a facility-wide asset management analysis and created an interactive master planning tool.
- Supported VA Long Beach in securing approval for a $700M Spinal Cord Injury/Disorder Rehabilitation and Wellness Center Major Project.
