Joseph Fay is the President of mcfa’s Diversified Markets Division, where he leads strategy, operations, and growth for a multi-sector project management practice. In this role, Joseph serves as a P&L leader and strategic advisor, overseeing complex capital projects and guiding project teams across Healthcare, Life Sciences, Defense, Sports & Entertainment, Technology, and Institutional markets. He works closely with developers, institutions, and public agencies to deliver technically complex, multi-year projects with construction values exceeding $500 million.
Joseph brings extensive experience in the real estate design and construction industry, having progressed from a Project Engineer with a mechanical contractor to leading project management teams at the executive level. His career includes senior leadership roles at Worth & Company, the University of Pennsylvania Health System—where he led over $300 million in capital projects and the relocation of a Level 1 Trauma Program—and CBRE, where he established a Healthcare and Life Sciences practice and led major developments such as Doylestown Health’s Cardiac Expansion and Wexford Science + Technology’s uCity Square.
In 2018, Joseph founded Quatrefoil Consulting LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned project leadership firm that executed high-profile projects for clients including Penn State Health, the Union League of Philadelphia, and the Philadelphia 76ers. Quatrefoil merged with mcfa in 2024, where Joseph continues to expand the Diversified Markets Division.
Joseph is also a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Marine Corps Reserves, with experience in emergency planning, homeland defense, and critical infrastructure hardening. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, he remains active with the Travis Manion Foundation as an Ambassador and Mentor, speaking regularly on leadership and character.
