Defense Logistics Agency

Since 2010, MCFA has worked with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville District Engineering and Support Center to provide comprehensive energy auditing and system analysis services and energy planning and management services to various DoD installations nationwide in support of the Army’s EEAP.  The goal of the Army’s EEAP program is to support and assist DoD installations in achieving energy reduction goals as mandated by EPACT 2005.  Under this program, MCFA energy professionals currently provide comprehensive energy usage analysis and facility auditing services to twelve (12) Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) (DD Tobyhanna, PA; DDSP Mechanicsburg, PA; DDCN Cherry Point, NC; DDNV Norfolk, VA; DDPW Puget Sound, WA; DDBC Barstow, CA; DDCT Corpus Christi, TX; DDDC San Diego, CA; DDAA Anniston, AL; DDWG Warner Robins, GA; DDAG Albany, GA; and DDJF Jacksonville, FL), four (4) Army Installations (West Point Military Academy, NJ; Sierra Army Depot, NV; Fort Detrick, MD;  and Fort Carson, CO). These energy audits consisted of on-site ASHRAE Level I and ASHRAE Level II audits, as well as engineering services associated with developing the requirements documents so that the DLA could issue RFPs for the scope of work.
