Launched in 2021, the Friendly Strife Foundation is a nonprofit platform focused on making an impact on causes that are near and dear to our hearts. As a former Division I swimmer and lifelong athlete, BJ Kraemer, believes in the power of sports to teach, inspire and prepare athletes to be leaders of character beyond the sports field. From their classrooms to their communities, and beyond. As a West Point graduate and combat veteran, BJ believes in supporting the veteran community to help overcome the scars of war, unlock their leadership capability and live a life of impact.
Mission – The Friendly Strife Foundation partners with nonprofit organizations, government agencies, private sector businesses and individuals who join hands with us to make a difference and improve the quality of life of veterans. Our goal is to ensure our veterans’ service doesn’t end with the military. They can continue to provide for themselves and their families while having the resources needed to embark on their next mission.
Vision – The Friendly Strife Foundation believes that to whom much is given, much is required. Our vision is to be a platform that connects those who care deeply about our veterans and utilize their time, talent, treasure and networks to help veterans in need. We believe everyone wants to help but aren’t sure exactly what they can do. Friendly Strife will solve that problem by bringing together those who want to help those most in need.
